Last spring the freshies.ch Crew geared up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience and set foot on the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard.This place is a 'little' bit north of mainland Europe, about midway between continental Norway and the North Pole. A rather cold place - we had temperatures as cold as -35° C. But being out there 24/7 on a remote glacier and experiencing all the nature around you was all worth the pain. Well, actually you just forget anything (including the cold temperatures) once you let your mind settle in with this unique landscape.
