Baleal
Baleal, Portugal
A unique place for surfing and more. In the last few years I have spent a few weeks surfing in Baleal. Baleal is a small island located in the western region of Portugal.
Located in the region of Peniche, regular host of the World Surf League Championship Tour in October, Baleal has become a major spot with a potential for water sports almost unmatched in Europe.
The coastal shape, namely the bay and northern strip of coast associated with Baleal create unique conditions in Europe for the practice of surfing and other warter sports.
